“I don’t care how long it takes, I will return to you.”ETSYA gorgeous chunk of ocean blue and sea green agate, wrapped intricately with tendrils of silver clay. The chain of the necklace is comprised of blue, purple and opal wire wrapped beads. This piece is inspired by the beautiful but tragic relationship between Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta in Suzanne Collin’s trilogy “The Hunger Games”.The two have a deep love for each other. Finnick mentored Annie and most likely did everything to keep her alive. During the interview with Caesar Flickerman, Finnick recited a poem for his one true love that was Annie, but everyone in the Capitol thought he was talking about them. During The Third Quarter Quell, Finnick heard Annie’s screams during the jabberjay attack because she was who he cared about above all others. Finnick became worried thinking they had hurt Annie. In Mockingjay, Finnick constantly worried about Annie and could not concentrate on anything else but her. Finnick thought about her and was out of his mind because Annie had been captured by the Capitol so they could torture her for information about the rebels, so to set his mind strait he ties different knots with a foot of rope. Finnick would tie knots so was able to distract himself. Finnick broke down when he couldn’t handle it anymore, soon after the rebels rescued the prisoners from the Capitol. Finnick and Annie reunite and later the two get married and have a son. But Finnick died before he was born. This is a stunning piece full of color and vibrance, sure to steal any Hunger Games fan’s heart!May the odds be ever in your favor
